ABOUT P. Israel:

Israel was born into a pastoral family and has been heavily involved in a ministry lifestyle and passionate pursuit of Jesus since Day 1. Serving in every capacity of ministry from ushering to worship team, from Youth Pastor to Associate Pastor, and eventual Lead Pastor.

He studied Pastoral Leadership at Valor Christian College under the leadership of Dr. Rod Parsley in Columbus, OH. After returning from his season in Columbus, he began to focus fully on continuing to build the local church with his father, Pastor David Lazo at Church of Power in Anaheim CA.

After several years of serving as an Associate Pastor, his father felt it was time to hand the ministry over. Israel became the Lead Pastor of Church of Power and led a passionate multi-cultural congregation in pursuit of Jesus. After serving in this pastoral role for 6 years, Israel and His wife Sophia felt like it was time to move forward into their next season in life and under the direction of the Holy Spirit, moved to Colorado.

Israel and Sophia currently serve at Zeal Church, in Colorado Springs, CO, under the leadership of Pastor Brandon and Octavia Cormier. Together, the help lead Zeal Collective, the young adults ministry. Additionally, Israel travels the country preaching the Gospel and leading a generation to Christ.
